Installation of turf by the folks at Versasport.

Carpet came in 15 foot wide rolls. After rolled out, they began the positioning process and had to wrestle with 500 pound rolls of carpet.

The bags of sand were used to keep the turf in position as they prepared to glue down the seams.

These bags of specially treated sand will be used as infill.  Using basically a lawn spreader, it is applied to the carpet and a power brush is used to work it into the carpet.

The school is 5 years old and most of the chain link fence was in need of repair, and of course we had removed much of it to facilitate the installation of turf.

SCHOOLAGE PLAYGROUND

The contractor installed turf only in the fall zone area on the schoolage playground. We purchased extra carpet to cover most of the remaining play area and installed it.

 The swingset area received a new load of mulch.
